Having been born in Tulsa, Okla., and having lived in a variety of different locations, Matt has a spirit that is able to follow wherever the Lord may lead, regardless of location. Because of his conversion at the age of 15, he has a passion for next generations ministry, evangelism, and discipleship. He believes that there is truly nothing more incredible than the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Matt has spend time in in NYC, Nicaragua, and Israel doing mission work and served several summers in West Africa for the same purpose during his undergraduate studies. Matt spent three years engaged in vocational student ministry in Little Rock, AR before coming to Kansas City to attend Midwestern Seminary.
He married the love of his life, Lindsey, in December 2018. They both love other cultures and are excited for the cross-cultural gospel opportunities that KC can provide. Here's to adventure!
Matt is a lover of all things nerdy and outdoorsy. Star Wars, Tolkien, model ships, bouldering, hiking, swiftwater kayaking, campfires, books, coffee, good food, and good friends are some of the things that he enjoys most!
