Mill Creek LifeGroups are fellowship groups that provide teaching and Christian relationships beyond Sunday morning. They exist as a place where our faith is put into practice among caring people. You can connect with other Christians at a LifeGroup. Pastor Martin Burch oversees this ministry, and would love to talk to anyone interested in joining a group, hosting a group, or starting a new group. DeSoto: Jim Nickelsen leads this group which meets the second and fourth Sundays at 12:00p.m. @McCoy campus. This LifeGroup emphasizes in-depth study of scripture, community outreach and genuine, personal sharing in prayer. Find out more by contacting Jim at jnickelsen@kc.rr.com.

Gardner: This group is led by Craig Stout for both singles and married couples of all ages.  It meets Sundays at 6:00 p.m. at the Stout’s home. Children are welcome. Contact the Stouts at craig.stout1@gmail.com for more information.

Kansas City:  Led by David Wilkinson, this group meets Fridays at 7:00 p.m. at rotating locations.  Children are welcome. Contact the Wilkinsons at dwilkinson@kc.rr.com for more information.

Lenexa: This group is co-led by Brian Dodson and Scott Mulder.  It meets Sundays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at either the Mulder’s or another home. This group is made up of married couples, but anyone is welcome. This group’s activities include expository Bible study, fellowships and service to Mission Adelante. Childcare is not available. Lenexa: This LifeGroup meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Mike and Susan Yardley under the direction of Mike. Childcare is not available.  Contact Mike at myardley@vml.com for more information.

Lenexa: This group is led by Kevin Hiskey and has both married and single members.  Currently studying the book of John, it meets every other Friday at 6:45 p.m. in various homes in Lenexa and Shawnee.  Children are welcome.  For more information, contact the Hiskeys at kandjh@everestkc.net .

Lenexa:  Scott and Stephanie Spandet lead this group made up of primarily young married couples. They meet Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. For more information, contact Scott at sspandet@everestkc.net.

Merriam:  Jerry Steele leads this group.  It meets Fridays at 7:00 p.m. at various homes on a rotating basis. Find out more by contacting the Steeles at jsteele3@kc.rr.com.

Shawnee: This LifeGroup is made up of young parents with toddlers and typically participates in chapter-by-chapter Bible studies. We rotate from home to home in Shawnee on Sunday mornings from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. for breakfast and study. For more information, contact Nathan Eberline at nathan.eberline@gmail.com.

Shawnee: This is the O.W.L.S. (Older, Wiser, Loving Saints) group. Led by  Bob Smith and Max and Jackie Weaver, it meets Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. at the McCoy Campus. Contact the Weavers at dadweve@everestkc.net for more information.

Shawnee: This LifeGroup is led by elder Curtis Arnold. The group meets on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Mike and Pam Sheehan; 6401 Theden.  Their focus is on in-depth Bible study and service projects. Children are welcome.  Contact Curtis at curtis.arno@gmail.com.

Shawnee: This LifeGroup is led by Alfred and Johanna Horstman. The group meets on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Robert and Renee Teetsel; 6804 Red Oak Drive.  Contact Alfred at golfproal@msn.com.

Shawnee: This group for young adults is led by Scott Baldwin.  It meets Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Scott and Emily Baldwin. Find out more by contacting the Baldwins at sbaldwin17@gmail.com.

Shawnee: This group meets Sunday nights from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Geoff  and Jill Vandegrift’s home.  Led by Patrick VanHoecke, they are studying the book of Acts. This group is mostly middle-age, but everyone is welcome.  Childcare is available.  Contact Patrick VanHoecke at youthtrek@sbcglobal.net for more information.

Shawnee:  David and Dinah Wooddell lead this group.  It meets the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Wooddell’s; 7621 Bell Road. They are studying Philippians, “Joy from a Prison Cell.”  There is no homework.  Empty nesters make up this group, but everyone is welcome.  Contact the Wooddells at drwooddell@gmail.com.

Shawnee:  Brad Jones leads this group which rotates meeting locations Sundays at 5:30 p.m.  They study various books of the Bible and have just finished James.  Young married couples without children make up the group.  Contact Brad for more information at:  jciscool2001@yahoo.com.

Shawnee/Olathe: This group meets Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and is led by Devin Henderson.  They rotate among three different homes – two in Shawnee and one in Olathe.  Most members are in their 30’s.  Childcare is available for about $10 per family.  For more information, contact Devin Henderson at magic@devinhenderson.com.
